What does Mid-West include?

So what does the Mid-West include? Does anyone know? Are there moderators that can explain? on NASIOC we had a RMIC (Rocky Mountain Impreza Club) that might be helpful.

As a person who was born and raised in Colorado and now lives in Michigan, I can tell you that the mid-west is not the mid-west.... Commonly refered to as the Mid-west, this is actually the mid-east and contains; Michigan, Ohio, indiana, illinois, wisconsin, missouri, iowa, minnesota, the dakotas, nebraska and kansas.
