Each new bit of information whets my appetite further... making the time seem to drag even more. I'm already planning Spring trips in it, but I'm ready NOW.

Funny you should say that... my iPhone Big Day app says it is 44 more days until mine "might" arrive. lol

Totally an aside, but my old race track opens in only 7 more days, April 1st. The juices are beginning to flow.

I lived in MA thirty years before moving back to WV. It was a long trip from Stow, MA to Epping, NH with a race car in tow, but I did it for many years. Every time the gates opened I was there. Adrenaline addiction.

There are no quarter mile strips in WV. Zero. It is several hours drive to the closest ones in other states, sadly. But I'll have to go just to put some real numbers on the BRZ.

Heck, no! It's just that there are few ways to quantify some things, and a drag strip provides a couple numbers about one's own car.

Here in these mountains the roads define performance, not horsepower. It's a compressed playing field where skill and handling dominate, and fear is the guardrail, not steel.
