I'll sell you mine for $40k USD ...I think currently the Australian dollar is of higher value than the US dollar...checking...yep, .0311 more per dollar (that's 3.11 cents more for the "challenged") but not enough for the price difference mentioned. I'd still sell mine for 40K and wait for the next one. You will be responsible for shipping and explaining to the Government the steering wheel being on the wrong side.

Well I had a look at how much you would pay for a BRZ from Japan. It converts to about 28K for the limited model, so the same as america really. But I researched into buying a customised BRZ with right hand drive over in Japan and then get it shipped over to Australia. It would roughly cost about 38-40K to have it delivered to Australia and off the ship ready for registration.
So if Australia is really going to charge the rediculous amount of 45-55k, Im going to get one over seas.

Just a shipping suggestion...maybe "Whiteline" or another MFG in Australia that regularly ships to the USA has a container that is coming back empty and you could hitch a ride. Just a thought.

The thing is that all the prices of the cars here are sky high. And now the price are still rising even with used cars.
