I hope mine has three pedals under the steering wheel and a long stick thing that moves into seven spots(counting reverse) between the front seats too The rest of the interior is dead weight.

A light weight memory...I had "lightened" my first car (MG-B) to the max and was pulled over by an Officer that noticed I didn't signal for a turn so after we stopped he started listing the needed items that were missing... turn signals and lights, horn, and windshield wipers. Unfortunately he missed the fact that the frame for my windshield was missing the glass portion and I forgot to point that out to him...maybe next time.

I just want to check with you guys in the US. Do you have the option to pick between leather or alcantara with fabric seats??

We have two model options. The premium with cloth fabric seats and red stitching. Then there is the more expensive limited option with Leather/Alcantara. You can see the U.S. model differences here: http://brz-club.com/forum/showthread...r-and-Interior

Re: What do you guys think of the interior?

I want to know if it's comfortable to sit in. One issue with my MR-S is that my leg hits this hard plastic pillar at the center dash where the stereo is. I'll probably have a permanent indent in my leg by the time I stop driving this thing, lol. I'm a pretty big dude though, so I'm sure not everyone has this issue. (Excuse my filthy car with ghetto anti-rattle napkin jammed beside the stereo)

I sat in a 370z, and it has this knee pad (with red stiching, bottom right corner) which is an absolute DREAM.

When I sat in the BRZ it didn't jump out at me that this would be an issue. I remember seeing a JDM accessory for it this exact issue awhile back, I couldn't find it though.

I did find this picture. The center console looks low enough to where it might not be an issue. What do you think?

It does look like there's a little more width there. It's hard to imagine whether or not I would be bracing myself by the console there. Even in my car I'm not sure if I do it or not - I might be doing it subconsciously. Now that we talked about it, maybe I'll pay attention on my drive home from work tonight.

after 300 miles of winding road on my vacation, I'd say not an issue

Sorry I didn't see this before but after replacing the items missing items and having them signed off by an officer then nothing...I expect my car for Christmas but who knows, by then the AWD turbo may be out

It's a lot more refined than the Lotus Elise I traded in on the BRZ limited.
