I have read a lot of reviews comparing BRZ to miata and BRZ comes out ahead.
I am interested to find out of if people believe BRZ will handle better than Honda S2000. Now that will be a great endorsement of BRZ handling.

That is one comparison many of us are eager to see. Although, the difficult part about the BRZ is that there are very few cars that you can compare it to. No comparison currently exists as equal as an STI vs EVO comparison for example. It is also difficult to compare a BRZ to a S2000 because of the age difference, new vs old. I am curious if Nissan follows up on the rumors of building a sub Z sports car, bringing back the 280 or a 240 inexpensive sports car. I would love that to happen!
"Proud of Boxer"
I think that is more of an interesting comparison then the Miata. With the Cayman being the target for handling, I'm hoping it will handle as well. Also, they're both high revving ~2 liter with ~200hp.

The interesting thing about this comparison is that the S2000 and the BRZ drivers...the serious ones, will not think anything about the stock cars and would only consider them good/great after they have been "breathed upon" with the breath of aftermarket parts...these cars will need parts but it is a fantastic starting place.
I like the idea of replacing the 240 better being there are so many converted to drift-spec!

Yes! I'll be interested to hear the comparison.
I presently own a 2002 S2K and the BRZ will be for my wife. I expect it to handle much like a Civic Si although with the rear wheel performance of the S2K.
Handle like a Civic? Ouch...

Is a Civic Si really that bad? It has about 200hp, is about the same size as the BRZ and is built to handle. I know there are closer comparisons to be made to the BRZ but certainly NOT my 96 Acura Integra.![]()
I had a '02 Si, handled terrible. Good on gas and a peppy motor though. When a car is meant to handle like a Cayman, that's a low blow lol.
