Subaru has created some new videos featuring two lucky enthusiasts who got the chance to drive the new Subaru BRZ on some beautiful canyon roads for a day, and then got to share their experiences!
The first two videos are Previews introducing the two lucky enthusiasts:
Here's the first video -
Enjoy!

Where was my invite!? Naw, that is cool for them. I wonder if they ordered one?

Oooops sorry about the repost! I did give a quick look, but didn't notice the first one.. I appreciate the polite update on that! And thanks for the kind welcome! I wasn't sure how to post a video.. just saw the video insert button! I guess that's how to post one properly! I'll post further on the original video thread!
Thanks onbooSTi, I appreciate that! Firstly, as you might imagine, I was very excited about the possibility to get to drive the new BRZ! Like many I had been following closely all the rumors, spy photo's etc. for a long time. I just had a feeling the BRZ was going to be really good. I was pretty ecstatic to have been selected as an enthusiast for the shoot!
The shoot was both video and photo. For the enthusiasts, it was completely unscripted. We were free to talk about the BRZ and give our own impressions completely. Here's a few behind the scenes photos from the shoot:

There was a closed stretch of road that we were able to drive the BRZ about as hard as we dared on. I've spent quite a bit of time driving a virtual BRZ/FR-S in GT5 with a racing seat/wheel combo. The physics model in GT5 is pretty good - so cars behave in the game closely to real life - on 'normal tires'
The first time I got to sit in the BRZ and started it up, I just got giddy...
The first time I got to drive the BRZ up the road, I planned to take one easy run.. learn the road, adjust to the BRZ... No, I just went for it. I felt right at home right away, took it right to redline, turned in to the first corner, everything the BRZ did was exactly what I asked it to, it responded perfectly. The BRZ sits wide and low and with a really well tuned suspension that just feels really planted and stable - it doesn't upset easily at all. I had a camera in the car to film me and record what I had to say, but the first run I just got fully submerged in the glory of the experience, and got carried away to driving heavenI didn't realize I had been utterly speechless until I got to the turnaround, and started to take in what had just happened! I've never felt so immediately comfortable and at home in a car before.
The BRZ is so intuitive to drive, because it's controls are all so communicative - steering is quick and accurate, but not darty. The brakes are firm and modulate reassuringly. The sport seats are bolstered at the shoulders, waist, thighs, and hold you securely. The foot pedals are perfect for heel and toe shifting, and the shifting done within inches of the steering wheel have short precise throws with good synchros. The tach is the middle gauge and supplies revs, mph, and a shift light. It all feels pretty racy except the ride is good! The BRZ just swoops through corners. There is this old expression "it corners like it's on rails". In the BRZ I felt like the car and I were the rails, almost like down between the rails. I was surprised how much the BRZ exceeded all my expectations! Well, power matched my expectationsThough personally I felt the power was very well balanced and didn't distract from the delight of the BRZ's handling. It added to it as the BRZ pipes in engine sound above 5k rpms -so the engine becomes part of the viscerally rich driving environment!
The BRZ is a joy to drive and experience driving with!
