Got any Subaru BRZ Questions?

Hey everyone,

I figured I'd get on here and see if there were any questions anyone had about the BRZ? I got mine last Monday and have had a lot of time to drive it around. Lot's of fun! But is there anything any of you guys want to know about it? Got any questions? Or any modifications or things you would like me to try out and report back on? Let me know! I'll be looking forward to seeing what questions you guys have. I can also post pictures or videos too.

Is the pass airbag cover silver? Is it a reflective distraction? Scion is faux CF

First off, congrats!

I'd like to know if you have any modifications planned, style or power-wise?
Is your BRZ Prem or Limited? Do you wish you had gone with the other?
Is there anything you don't like, or something you would change?
Most people say it's a very balanced car--power, handling, interior--would you agree?

Hey thanks for the offer and congrats on getting the car. I've got a bunch of questions but since I'm (hopefully) getting mine soon, only three for you:

1) Is it loud inside during normal driving? I remember one review saying you have to scream to have a conversation at higher rpms, how about regular city and hwy cruising speeds?
2) Have you had to park in any tight parking spaces yet? Was wondering if the door struck you as too long (since coupe doors are usually pretty long to allow backseat access...).
3) Is the back red triangle just a reflector, or is it a brake lamp too? If so, first thing I'm going to do is remove that god-awful center stoplamp inside the back glass...

I do have several modifications planned... I want to get coil overs and lower it about 2". Maybe new rims but I love the stock ones! Also, I will most likely turbo it gonna be crazy! It is Limited and I'm glad I went with it. I would change nothing! I love the car. Well, actually the interior is slightly cheap but hey they had to cut back somewhere in this beautiful car at under $30k it is a steal!!! It is absolutely AMAZING when it comes to power, handling, etc. I will never get sick of this beauty. Handling is amazing! Could use a little more power but I am a junkie when it comes to power so...

It is definitely loud during driving. Not much insulation between you and the road. It isn't so loud that you have to scream though lol! The door is definitely not too long. Could be much longer and be ok. The back is just a reflector I think, but in Europe I'm pretty sure it is a break lamp.

Thanks, glad to hear the doors are practical. Not so much the noise... But then again it isn't supposed to be a Bentley...

Since this is going to be my only car I have to weigh the practical side of things too, not just the fun side. If it were just for fun I'd be 100% committed! But aside from the noise and lack of any flat place to put your wallet and things (and no dry cleaning hooks), it seems pretty liveable on day to day basis. At least I think.

Doug, if you are worried about the noise go get some dynamat and install it in the entire car. It will be more quiet than an Audi
