Picture of back seats beeing used

Hi, Guys,

I've just registered in this forum. Here in my country, Brazil, we still not have so many buzz about this great car. But at the given price (under USD 29k), I'm seriously thinking about to import one from some Miami exporter.

I confess that the car of "my possible dreams" was the 370z, but I saw in BRZ the advantage of it's 2+2 seats. Reading around the forum I noticed some complains about the back seats, but I'm not tall (5'7" = 1,70m) neither my girl (1,57m), but eventually my 10 years old daughter would use one of back seats. Today she has around 4'11" and can reach up to 5'9", I imagine.

So the question is: For how long could I use the BRZ to transport 3 of us (and our future baby...)

Another question: I did not see neck protection in the back seats, is the bottom so deep that they are not necessary?

A (kind of weird) picture with someone using a back seat could illustrate this question to me. As, if I buy it will be only through a catalog.

Unfortunately I can't supply picture yet but I think you hit it on the head - the back seats are so low that the upper part of the back acts as its own headrest.

Now, the most honest thing I can say is just what reviewers have said - that the back seats are unusable for adults. But for a 10-year-old girl and smaller, they should be fine. For a few years!

You & your gf/wife should find the front very spacious.

Either way you will like the BRZ much more than the 370Z...

I haven't had a chance to take any pictures with my wife and daughter in the car, but this might help.

The first picture is closer to where my wife would like the seat when they are both in the car. My daughter doesn't care for it too much as she's used to sedans or 4 door cars where she has more leg room.



This is closer to where my daughter would like it where my wife can still sit, but she feels like she's right up on the dash.



If it's just me and my daughter, I have the seat all the way forward and she had plenty of room. Even then, I think she still prefers to ride in my wife's Subaru Forester as she has a better view out the window and can see out the front better too.
