    Various intakes and their differences

    Hey guys,

We get a lot of customers asking us the difference between a cold air intake and short ram intake. We put together a little info on this, and wanted to share with you in case you might have been wondering as well.

Info is here: Cold Air Intake vs Short Ram Intake – Which is better?

Of course it's different for every car and engine, but hope this is a good general guide that can give you some info if you were wondering.

    Hope it helps!

I wonder if a cold air intake could be created for the BRZ that would make the fake fender vents behind the front wheels into actual cold air intake vents. The fake vents look like they are just clipped on and you can see the back of them from the engine bay. That would be an awesome modification for making form actually function.

Too much sucking to get the air from that vent but opening it would cool the brakes. The cold air intake needs to be in the very front of the car to get the most benefit.
