612 Subaru’s, 12 vendors with free stuff, 77 degree weather and an ocean view! Sounds like my version of heaven. Subaru Summer Solstice was a fantastic event located on the Palos Verdes Peninsula in Southern California right next to the ocean. The “car show” featured dozens of the hottest Subaru’s from around the community with all different styles, from hellaflush to hellafunctional. Although, the “car show” was the main part of the event, the owners and spectators all drove in their Subbies, so the dirt parking lot was definitely worth checking out. Vendors like Crawford, COBB, Cosworth, and Forman Performance, just to name a few, had their latest Subaru’s on display while passing out stickers and t-shirts. The weather could not have been more perfect! A comfortable 77 degree’s the whole day and the mild ocean breeze was very enjoyable while walking around the show. Congratulations to Subaru Summer Solstice and their sponsors for organizing a great event that we will definitely attend again next year!
